"Would you rather...?"
Appear to be three feet to the left of where you really are OR not exist on December 18th every year?
"Would you rather... ?" of the day!!
Would you rather… have no hair on your face and head where you are supposed to have hair, and hair on your face where you are not supposed to have hair OR be allowed to only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, a suit with all the faces of all the Deputy Primeministers from history on it?
Right... It's a new format for my 'one a day'...
The ‘Interesting fact of the day’ of yesteryear is being upgraded to a ‘Would you rather…?’ of the day, in honour of a superb book I’ve just been given. Today is day one… wait for it…. WAIT FOR IT….

Tinfoil manufacturers, why don’t you have a meeting with the guys who make baking trays and between you try and agree on some dimensions?
If you like the mild thrill of finding out that someone you thought was dead actually isn’t, head down to BetFair in Slough. Eric Bristow is in there. And not dead!

If you like arseholes, try tuning in to Richard Bacon’s beer and pizza club on itv4 right now. There you’ll find no less than Dave Berry AND Caroline Flack on the same programme! How fortunate!!
Not being a Harry Potter fan, or having read or seen any of the nonsense, imagine my shock to hear that he had a sock hidden in a book.
A teenage boy.
Living in a boarding school.
With a sock.
Hidden in a book.
I don’t know what we’re trying to teach kids today, I really don’t.

It’s lucky there’s nothing important happening in the world so that such important news items and discussions can reach the heights of ‘3rd most shared story’ on the BBC News website…
Anyone else who is sorry you volunteered to build a supercharged, only to find the bags aren’t numbered, say ‘I’…
Well it's about bloody time, Cordelia Kretzschmar!...
Having been one of the first journalists to report from Iraq during the second Gulf war, AND being brunette, it was once worrying that Cordelia didn’t quite understand her role as a GMTV reporter. Well thank God ‘Daybreak’ kept her on and showed her the way. She’s now Blonde, and reporting on school breakfast clubs. Phew. Well done Cordelia, that was close!!
